<reviewbody>another release from the most important artist most people will never know. i find it mind-boggling that Hawgood can freely release so much on the best labels out there yet no one seems to notice much. every release is class and this is no exception. the only exception with this is that you can really hear him directly in action in guitar, piano and organ - and the results are phenomenal. my favorite artist the past 6 months continues to surprise and inspire. a gem.</reviewbody>

<reviewbody>ok, so he clearly plays instruments, various. the most important ambient artist this year has sat down and made me just go 'wow'. it is very new direction, shorter more melodic pieces and kind of reminds me of greg davis 'arbour' in its vision. very different from his other work, and a very exciting change indeed. the songs with the japanese titles are particularly wonderful. it finally sounds like hawgood is coming out of himself and making 'happy memory' music unlike (the still astonishing) deep music he makes from the severe depths of depression and loneliness. lets just hope he doesn't stay too happy as i will miss those deep works if this is a new direction for him!</reviewbody>
